BATZ! started as a daily three panel strip on OpenSalon. Since then it has overgrown the space primarily due to limitation in the quality of images OpenSalon is able to produce. Odalisque featuring the Pixie Muses began first appeared in BATZ! in January, 2009. Odalisque will be published here, in much higher resolution and is intended to be a showcase for graphic vignettes of varying length.
Hat Check Kelly is a 3D film noir graphic mystery series produced by JJE Graphics.
The first novella,”Hat Check Kelly: Famous Long Ago“, ran between late 1999 and 2002. From the first chapter, the dream like page layout, art deco sets and dark story line attracted rave reviews and thousands of internet readers every month. When it was completed it had incorporated the skills and talents of over fifty members of the online 3D community.
“Hat Check Kelly: The Streets of Evangeline” is the next installment and an expansion of the style developed in the original. A full length novel set in the bayous of Louisiana and the streets of New Orleans, it is a multi-threaded story of murder and deceit, perceptions and reality.
